Raven-Symoné, best known for her role in That's So Raven, recently hit the red carpet with her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday. Raven-Symoné had some exciting news to share about their relationship.

During an interview, Raven-Symoné revealed something surprising: Miranda had never seen That's So Raven before they met. Raven-Symoné said this was actually a great thing.

"It’s fantastic!" Raven-Symoné explained. "Imagine being with someone who doesn’t see you as just a famous person, even though you’ve been famous your whole life." She appreciated that Miranda saw her for who she truly is, not just as a celebrity.

Raven-Symoné, who played a psychic teen on That's So Raven from 2003 to 2007, said that Miranda offered her a fresh start. "Miranda provides me with a reality check and an honest perspective. She doesn’t see me as just Raven-Symoné," she added.

The couple secretly married in June 2020, and Raven-Symoné recently talked about how their marriage has been a big positive influence in her life. "Getting married to Miranda has really helped me. I now have people around me who make me feel safe and supported," she said.

Raven-Symoné also shared her thoughts on therapy. "I believe in it," she said. "I've been guarded for a long time, but now I feel more secure with Miranda and my team."

She also talked about her experiences in the entertainment industry, noting that when she was younger, she saw some of her role models face challenges after coming out. "But things have changed," Raven-Symoné said. "A new generation has come along that’s more accepting."

Raven-Symoné continues to be a strong presence on The Talk since 2019 and remains a beloved figure in the entertainment world.
