He also starred as Cal Jacobs in HBO’s Euphoria and appeared in films such as Valentine’s Day and Burlesque, building a career that showcased both range and presence.
In April 2025, Dane publicly revealed his ALS diagnosis after what he described as a long and exhausting search for answers. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurological condition that affects muscle control and currently has no cure.
