Jay-Z made one boy's dream come true over the weekend, showing once again why he's not only a rap legend but also one of the most generous and kind-hearted stars in the game. During his Magna Carter worldwide tour, the rapper was performing in Greensboro, N.C., when he noticed a young fan holding up a sign that read, "Can I rap for you?"

Hov, always quick to show love to his fans, invited the 12-year-old up on stage. With the spotlight on him, the boy grabbed the mic and nervously but bravely launched into a rap of Jay's own verse from "Clique."

The moment was pure magic. While the young fan's nerves were clear, Jay-Z guided him with patience and encouragement. As the kid rapped, he made sure to skip over the more adult content in the lyrics. Jay-Z, always a professional, stepped in to help steer him in the right direction, jokingly telling him to "go back to the numbers" instead of rapping about the bad part of the song. The crowd roared in approval as the boy nailed his performance, and Jay, ever the mentor, hugged him tightly in celebration. When the young fan asked if he could meet Jay backstage, the rapper didn't hesitate. Of course, he said yes.
