According to a member of Foxx's publicity team, "Jamie didn't hesitate. He jumped out and ran to the car." The driver, identified as 32-year-old Brett Kyle from Newbury Park, suffered significant head, chest, and neck injuries. He was swiftly transported to Los Robles Hospital Medical Center for treatment and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Brett's brother, Joe Kyle, expressed gratitude for Foxx's intervention, noting that his brother's injuries, including a broken collarbone that punctured his lung, could have been far worse had it not been for Jamie Foxx's timely arrival.
