Cher and her boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, are doing great together, even though they have a big age difference of 40 years. Edwards, who is 38, recently said, “We’re a happy family.” They first got noticed in November 2022 when they were seen holding hands in Los Angeles. This led to rumors that they might be getting engaged, especially after Cher shared a photo of a diamond ring that Edwards gave her.

In December 2022, Cher tweeted about the ring, saying, “THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER, A.E.” She was really excited and even had a happy tear. Later, she said that the ring was not an engagement ring.

In October 2023, Cher said, that she only met Edwards for about 15 minutes during a fashion show in 2022. After their short chat, a friend gave Edwards Cher’s phone number. They were later seen together in Los Angeles, which made people think they were dating. Cher confirmed it when a fan asked on Twitter, replying with “YESSSSS” and adding, “We’re Happy.”

Cher and Edwards did break up briefly in May 2023, but they stayed friends. By September 2023, they were back together and attended Balmain’s Paris Fashion Week.

A friend of theirs said that Cher and Edwards are now closer than ever. “All their friends think they are adorable together and they have amazing chemistry,” the friend said. She shared a funny moment when Edwards didn’t know who classic movie star Clark Gable was, saying, “Most of my references … He’ll look at me and go, ‘I wasn’t born yet.’”
