About a week before Timothy's commencement ceremony, the industrious teen approached his manager, Cedric Hampton, requesting the day off. Without hesitation, Cedric gladly approved the request, advising Timothy to relish in the significance of his big day. However, on the morning of the graduation, Cedric was taken aback when Timothy appeared for his shift, defying their previous conversation. When asked why he wasn't at the ceremony, Timothy revealed the heartbreaking truth—he couldn't secure transportation across town, nor could he obtain tickets for his family to attend.
