Former President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama were seen sharing a friendly moment at President Jimmy Carter’s funeral on January 9, 2025.
The two, known for their political differences and past criticism of each other, were spotted having a conversation at Washington’s National Cathedral.
The interaction quickly caught the attention of those in attendance and soon went viral on social media. Trump later reflected on the moment, saying, “I said, ‘Boy, they look like two people that like each other.’ And we probably do.” Despite years of political clashes, Trump suggested that, in that moment, they simply “got along” and appreciated the ceremony.
