Pastor meets up with pregnant girl and does this

In a cozy Waffle House in Stockbridge, Georgia, Hannah Hill was just doing her job when she met a special customer, Bishop Eusebio Phelps. Looking for a tasty breakfast, Eusebio struck up a friendly conversation with Hannah, and little did she know, this chat would change her life!

As they talked, Eusebio discovered that Hannah was pregnant with her second child, a baby boy she planned to name Samuel. That name struck a chord with him; it was also the name of his late son, who he lost seven years ago.

Moved by their connection, Eusebio wanted to help Hannah in any way he could. He started by giving her a generous $40 tip, but he felt it wasn't enough. So, when he got home, he and his wife decided to raise $1,000 for Hannah and her growing family.

Eusebio turned to Facebook to share their story, and by morning, they had already surpassed their goal! Excited by the support, he raised the target to $3,000, which was reached in no time.

Eusebio organized a surprise baby shower for Hannah at the Waffle House. However, she wasn’t there when the surprise was set up. Once someone suggested raising the goal to $10,000, they waited for Hannah’s 40-minute drive to arrive.

When she finally got there, they were overjoyed to present her with a whopping $12,000! Plus, Eusebio’s church offered to cover Samuel’s childcare costs for an entire year.

“I’ve been really stressed lately,” Hannah shared. “I’ve been worried about the baby getting here… I’m so grateful. That’s all I can say. God is good all the time.”

What’s truly special is that Hannah never mentioned her struggles to Eusebio; their bond formed naturally through kindness and their shared connection to the name Samuel. Eusebio later described their meeting as “a chance encounter but an appointed, ordained, and predestined moment.”
