Gabourey has been married to Brandon Frankel since 2021. Their love story is one for the books! So, who is Brandon Frankel? He started out as a talent manager at Cameo, a site where fans can get personalized videos from celebrities. Brandon has worked behind the scenes in the entertainment industry for years, including roles at Paradigm Talent Agency, CAA Music, and Atlantic Records. Right now, he leads marketing and branding at 33 & West, a booking agency.

Frankel got "Gabourey" tattooed on his thigh. "I love my wife so much I wanted to ink her name on me forever. That's how much I love her," he says.

Gabourey and Brandon met on Raya, a dating app for celebrities. After their first date, which lasted seven hours, it was clear that they had a special connection. Brandon proposed in November 2020, and they tied the knot in March 2021.

In April 2024, Gabourey and Brandon became parents to twins—Cooper, whom they lovingly call "Coop," and Maya. The names hold special meaning, with Maya inspired by their babymoon to Mexico and Cooper being a name Brandon had always wanted.
