Freestyling is one of the trickiest forms of dance.
In this form of dance, dancers have to come up with new, impressive moves on-the-spot. These moves also have to fit with the music they’re performing to.
In 2015, a group of dancers did a freestyling dance at a fair to “Jump On It.” Their moves were all incredible.
The dancers also invited members of the audience to come on stage and show their moves. To their surprise, they ended up inviting up a group of kids who were all naturals at freestyling!
The dancers stood at the back of the stage and each took turns freestyling. Every dancer brought something different to the table.
One of the dance crew members started the show. This dancer did robot-style moves, and the crowd quickly began cheering for him.
Then, it was time for the younger dancers in the group to perform.
The first young dancer did some amazing flips and somersaults! The group’s MC, Carlos, jokingly told the boy that he was “stealing their show.” Then, Carlos asked the boy to do some more flips, which he happily did.
After that, it was time for a boy named Javon to show off his moves.
As his aunt filmed, Javon flipped around the stage. Then, for his grand finale, he did an impressive handstand. Amazingly, he was able to keep his glasses on during this whole routine!
Javon’s family and the rest of the crowd loved his moves. The boy smiled widely as he showed what he could do.
After that, Carlos introduced Javon to the crowd. Then, he asked Javon to show off a few more moves, which the little boy happily did.
Javon did more handstands and flips, and he even did a headstand! He finished up his routine with a few more breakdancing moves.
After Javon finished his routine, a little girl took her turn dancing for the audience. She also did some great flips, handstands, and somersaults. All four of the kids onstage were so talented!
After the little girl danced, two more members of the audience took their turns dancing. The last person to dance was a little hesitant and nervous, and so one of the members of the dance crew helped him out.
Javon’s aunt posted the video on YouTube, and it has now been viewed over 2.4 million times. Everyone loved how enthusiastic all of these dancers were!
Javon and the other dancers onstage all did a great job at showing off their best freestyle moves. If you’d like to see these moves, check out the video below.
